When to seek urgent care
- Severe or rapidly worsening abdominal pain
- Vomiting blood, or vomit that looks like coffee grounds
- Black, tarry, or visibly bloody stools
- Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice) with confusion or drowsiness
- High fever with abdominal pain or persistent vomiting
- Signs of severe dehydration, such as dizziness or very low urine output
If you or someone with you has any of these symptoms, go to the nearest emergency department or call emergency services immediately — do not wait for a reply on WhatsApp.
