This page describes how this website — operated by Pokhara Gastro Liver Centre Pvt. Ltd. — handles information when you visit it. It covers only this website, not the clinic's in-person medical records or clinical practice, which are governed separately by standard medical record-keeping practice.
Appointment request form
The form on our booking page does not submit your details to a server or database run by this website. When you submit it, your name, phone number, preferred date and time, and reason for visit are used only to pre-fill a message that opens in WhatsApp, addressed to the clinic's WhatsApp number. From that point on, the conversation is a normal WhatsApp chat between you and the clinic, governed by WhatsApp's (Meta's) own privacy policy and terms.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages are visited and whether a handful of actions happen — such as tapping a WhatsApp or phone link, or sending an appointment request. It does not use cookies or any other storage in your browser: visitors are identified by a temporary hash generated from each request, which is discarded after 24 hours. The data collected is anonymous and aggregated — it cannot identify you individually or track you across other websites. This website does not use advertising trackers of any kind.
Embedded third-party content
Our contact page embeds a Google Maps view to show our location. Loading that map may allow Google to process data according to its own privacy policy. Links to WhatsApp, Facebook, and TikTok on this site take you to those platforms, which have their own privacy policies.
Hosting and technical logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security, performance, and troubleshooting purposes. This information is not used to identify individual visitors.
